    3. Looking for any information and/or contacts for the Hunt Family of Hardeman Co. John Hunt and Wilkins Hunt, brothers, arrived in Hardeman Co between 1824 and 1828 I believe. John Hunt son, John Wilkins Hunt, built the Hunt Home that is located just north of Grand Junction. Much of there land was sold to the Ames Plantation. Wilkins Hunt's children settled in Madison Co where they married Dickins. John Wilkins Hunt wrote a short manuscript about the Hunts. I have seen a transcribed copy of a copy of the original, but would love to find the location of the original. John Hunt's eldest daughter was the mother of Lucy Holcombe, who was pictured on the confederate 100 and 1 dollar bills. Once again any information on this family would be wonderful. I have learned much about John, but Wilkins Hunt, my ancestor, has been more difficult.
