Nancy, I find this connection to Navarro CO TX. and your JONES ancestor interesting as one of my TAYLORS , Giles Harrison Taylor b 1840 in Hardeman Co. Tenn moved his family to Tx. in Navarro Co. about 1885. They moved to Clay Co., Tx. in abt. 1905. Giles TAYLOR was Grandson of Augusta TAYLOR and Nancy JONES. At this time I am stuck without parents for either Gusty or Nancy but Nancy b. ca 1793 in SC is Possibly the D/O a Solomon JONES and Elizabeth of Rowan CO NC. I will look up these folks and see if I can find them have and get back to you. I have been working on my computer room and things are packed away in boxes and will have to find the Hardeman CO material. Sorry I do not have the 1870 census only the 1850 and 1910.
