I'm looking for information on Squire GEORGE and James N. ROSS who both appear in the 1840 census in Hardeman Co., TN. By 1850, Squire seems to have moved on to Henderson as had James Francis Ross who was married in Hardeman Co, TN in 1841, to Sarah George. Was James Francis Ross the son of James N. Ross?
