In my continuing search for my elusive great-grandfather John Thomas (or John Thompson or Johnny Thompson) Jones, born June 1859 in either Tennessee or Illinois, I may have found another tiny lead. A copy of a legal document found by a cousin shows Abijah B. Crain of Hardeman County, TN in 1867 as administrator of the estate of a John T. Jones, whose widow's name was Martha. Others shown as having an interest in the estate of the deceased were "W.T. Jones, James Wiggins and wife Elizabeth, and John Jones minor heir of J.T. Jones." I am wondering if the minor John Jones could possibly be my John T. Does anybody happen to have a Hardeman County W.T. Jones or an Elizabeth Jones married to a Wiggins? BTW, Abijah B. Crain was the grandfather of Martha Elizabeth McGlothlin, who married my John T. Jones in 1880. Any information would be appreciated. Nancy Harwood Houston, TX
