Hamon HUDSON (b 5 May 1809 -d 29 Sep 1898). Hamon first married Sarah PORTER (b 31 Jan 1813 -d 25 Feb 1877). They had the following children: 2 i. William (~1819-) 3 ii. Caroll Tipton (1839-1922) 4 iii. Mary Elizabeth (~1844-) 5 iv. Thomas Jefferson (~1846-) 6 v. James A. (~1849-) 7 vi. John L. (~1852-) Hamon second married Annie E. PORTER (b 11 Nov 1857 - d 6 Dec 1929). They had one child: 8 i. Amanda Porter Second Generation 2. William (b abt 1819). 3. Caroll Tipton HUDSON (b 17 Jan 1839 - d 10 Feb 1922). Caroll Tipton first married Mary Susan PORTER (b 11 Jul 1842 - d 23 Mar 1874), daughter of William PORTER (b 11 Aug 1817 - d on 9 Sep 1896) & Susan ROSE (b 3 Oct 1823 - d 14 Oct 1882). She had one know sibling, James H. PORTER (1848-1874). Caroll and Mary Susan had the following children: 9 i. Mary Eta (1866-1948) 10 ii. William (1863-1937) 11 iii. Jimmie (1871-) 12 iv. Thomas Hamon (?-1965) 13 v. Sallie (1869-1893) Caroll Tipton second married Amanda PORTER (b 13 Jan 1854 - d 3 Jun 1918). They had the following children: 14 i. John Alexander (1882-1965) 15 ii. Third Generation 9. Mary Eta HUDSON. (b 3 Jul 1866 - d 20 Nov 1948). On 17 May 1887 when Mary Eta was 20, she married Samuel Houston JONES (b 14 Aug 1857 Friendsville, TN - d 1 Jun 1924), son of Pleasant JONES & Catherine Evelyne COSTON. They had the following children: 17 i. Lester Gaston (1896-1975) 18 ii. Hudson (1899-1979) 19 iii. Mary Evelyn (1903-1981) 10. William HUDSON (b 6 Mar 1863 - d 17 Jun 1937). 11.
