Hello all, I've volunteered to transcribe the 1830 and 1840 Hardeman Co., TN federal censuses for the USGenWeb Census Project. While I have copies of the microfilm on-hand, I thought I'd offer to do some lookups. These censuses list head of household only, with numbers of different ages of males and females (free whites, slaves, etc) living in that household-- no given names for the rest of the family or household members.
