I am continuing my search for my grandfather's brother, Sam W Vaughn, born Ms. 1854. He, along with his brother, John Marshall,b 1858, and mother, Lurena (Fowler) Vaughn, b. Al., were in Big Hill district in 1860. I cannot locate any other documentation of Sam's whereabouts. John M. remained in McNairy Co all his life. Grandpa, Joseph Louis Vaughn b.1862 in Pocahontas, died Tx. 1947, was bound to WBT Gooch in 1866, as an orphan. Also searching for the right George W. Vaughn, their father.
