    3. NAMES: FORTINBURY - FORTENBERRY - WOMACK - WHITBY - TURNER Hello List, A big "Thank You" to all who answered my other requests, so I am hoping someone can help me with this family. I am seeking more information on Green L. (Lief) Fortenberry who was b. c 1846 in Tenn. He served in the CSA from Tippah Co., MS. He married Matilda A. Womack in 1868 in Tippah Co., MS. She was born c 1852 in Marshall Co., MS., the daug. of David Womack. In 1880 Green and Matilda are living in Dist. 17, in Hardeman Co. At that time they had the following children: Mary L., b.c1870; Minnie V., b. c1874; John W., b. c.1875; and Nancy A., b. c.1877. All the children were born in Tenn. Did they have more children? Are they still in Hardeman Co. in 1900? If not, where did they move to? I found the following marriages, but don't know if they are part of this family. WHITBY, James------------Fortenberry, Annie---------Sep 1899 (could be Nancy A.)?? Fortenbury, Ed------------TURNER, Ollie------------Dec 1906 Any bits of information appreciated. TIA, Ann in NE Texas
