Augustus' son, Milton Henry Hamer, was my grandfather. Milton became involved in the oilfield and moved to Morgan City, Louisiana with his wife Beverly and his three children Greg, Milton Jr., and Connie. Milton Sr. passed in 1985. Our branches of the Hamer family tree still reside in those sections of Texas and in south Louisiana (Morgan City, Baton Rouge, + New Orleans) Hope this can be of help.
