    3. Hi Dan, Do you know anything about the Fulghams in Webster and Oktibbeha counties in Mississippi? I have plenty of them on my mother's side but I have not researched into them enough yet to tell you a whole lot. I do know that there were "supposedly" two sets of Fulghams in those areas ( I think that was just a cover up for all of the cousin getting married down there but I am not sure.) Supposedly, my grandmother is from one line of them and she married into the other line. His names was Erskin Fulgham. I would love to know if you are linked to them. I have a lot of cemeteries that have many Fulghams in with my Kellums and Fondrens. I look forward to hearing from you. Suzie > Hello Everyone, > > My name is Dan Fulghum. 3. Good Morning Everyone I have been following the roll call with interest, is anyone familiar with the Texas Land Company formed in Hardeman County and group left in 1831 for migration to DeWitt's Colony in what was than Mexican Texas?? My +++great-grandmother Sarah (Sally) Grogan came with this group that was formed by several Hardeman County business men in late 1830. She was born in Tn in 1813, however on one of her marriage bond's she said she was late of Alabama. I know some of the other members came from other surrounding counties of West TN. If anyone has any information on this group as a whole or Sally Grogan in particular I would love to hear from you. Thanks Linda Davis FT Worth, TX > Hello Everyone, > > My name is Dan Fulghum. 3. Susan, My Great-Great-Great Grandfather Arthur Fulghum's brother Theophilus (living in Williamson) sued Arthur's sons Pierce and Raiford over the estate of his sister Apsilla. In this suit, a copy of which was found in the Nacogdoches County, Texas, court records recently, there was a listing of the Fulghum and collateral family lines along with their locations. William McKinnie Wilson Fulghum (my Great-Great-Grandfather) was listed in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, at that time (early 1850s). Therefore, I would surmise your Fulghums are relatives. Send me a post with the names of your Fulghum's in Oktibbeha and Webster Counties at that time. I will check my database and that of the FFFNA to determine relationship. NOTE: My families' last name is Fulghum and there was another family line spelled Fulgham in Mississippi. Both of these lines came to the Republic of Texas in 1839 and 1840. Recently, through FamilyTreeDNA, I was able to conclusively prove the two blood lines are descended from Captain Anthony Fulgham of the Isle of Wight County, Virginia (circa 1640), our most recent documented common ancestor. My Fulghum line from Captain Anthony Fulgham's son Michael and the Fulgham line through Anthony's son John. Check the spelling of the last name and then give me the full names so I can check their lineages. This might help you in tracing your Fulghum/Fulgham ancestors.
