Wilkinson and Mary Cantrell were my ancestors. He was b. 1815 and she was b. 1817 both in Spartanburg Co. SC They married in TN 1835. He drowned-county unknown leaving Mary with 4 sons and one daughter-all under 11 years of age. In abt. 1849 she married Jonathan Powell (widower) who had children. They moved to Cape Girardeau, MO per the 1850 census. I have been trying for three years to find out more about George and his parents and siblings, and where he is buried. Thanks for the offer of help. Yesterday I sent for a copy of his will at the State Archives of TN-hopefully it is the same man. Marciel marcielhwood@cs.com
