BOWMAN and MARY SHERROD BOWMAN were living in Hardeman County, Tennessee in 1870 along with my great grandmother LAURA CAROLINE BOWMAN and her 2 sisters SARAH ALICE, and AMANDA. My great great grandmother MARY SHERROD BOWMAN was married twice to BOWMAN'S. She was married in 1860 to PLEASANT BOWMAN in Madison County, Tennessee and then on December 15, 1867 she married JOSHUA M. BOWMAN in Madison County, Tennessee. In August 1878 MARY SHERROD BOWMAN BOWMAN married ISSAC FLOWERS in Hardeman county, Tennessee. My great grandmother LAURA CAROLINE BOWMAN married W.A ALLEN on September 5, 1878 in Madison County, Tennessee. By 1880 MARY BOWMAN and her 4 girls are living in Faulkner County, Arkansas. My great grandmother LAURA CAROLINE BOWMAN ALLEN and W.A. ALLEN both lived in Faulkner County, Arkansas until their deaths. I don't know who the parents of MARY SHERROD, PLEASANT & JOSHUA M. BOWMAN, or W.A. ALLEN were. If anyone know anything abo! ut these lines please email me. PLEASANT & JOSHUA M. BOWMAN both served in the Civil War joing in Henderson, County, Tennessee. They served in Company A (Consolidated) Tennessee Infantry. I believe they both were Prisoners of War. Any information on these lines would be appreciated. Thanks Soni!
