I had copy of Confederate soldiers CD but donated it to Tn Genealogical Society. The CD only had those soldiers that were held in Union Prison Camps. It was also hard to read.

It would make sense that this unit was in Miss. in July, 1862 because Bragg had the Army of Tennessee retreat to Mississippi after the Battle of Shiloh in April. According to the (limited) history that I have this unit moved to Tupelo in July, 1862. It does not say where they moved from! From Tupelo they went to Chattanooga. You might try this address for unit histories: www.geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/4427/22nd.htm Try this one for a chronology of the regiment: www.geocities.com/Heartland/Meadows/8605/ABHurtChron1.htm What histories did you look at? Does anyone know of a complete unit history about this outfit? Does anyone know just what info is contained on these CDs? I would also appreciate a lookup if anyone has the one for Confederate soldiers: I am looking for Ollie (or perhaps Leolen/Leollin) Jones of the 12th/22nd Tennessee. Along the same lines, does anyone there know exactly where this regiment was in July of 1862? My g-g-grandfather, Ephraim McGlothlin, supposedly died 8 July, and his brother-in-law, John Pickering Crain, died 18 July, both, as I understand it, in Tennessee (Ephraim at what looks like McMinnville). From the published histories I have checked, the regiment was in Mississippi at that time. Nancy Harwood Houston, TX

I am trying to trace my gr grandfather Ezekiel Graham, bn 1/1/1810 NC. He married Susannah G. Jones, bn 6/2/1816,NC. Married on12/4/1834. Their first child Susannah R.A. Graham was bn 1/17/1836 in Tenn. They then settled in Marshall & Tippah counties in Miss.Showed up there in 1837. The dates are from the old family bible so are fairly accurate. I have not been able to find out where in NC they were born or married. I think their child was born in either Hardeman or McNairy Counties in Tenn. Does anyone have any information on them? thanks Glendon Graham
