JOHNSON, OVA M., age 81, of Sneedville, passed away June 13, 2001 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. She was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Johnson; son, Clifford Johnson; sisters, Eliza Brooks, Lona Brooks, and Lucy Williams; brothers, Henry Hurley, Elmer Hurley, Jack Hurley, and Grant Hurley. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cleo and Norman Jarvis of Rutledge, Tenn. and Evelyn and Carl Winstead of Sneedville; grandchildren, Diane and Mark Seal of Sneedville, Jodie and Benjamin Hopkins of Sneedville, Dustin Johnson of Sneedville, Sandra Jarvis of Rutledge, Cynthia Jarvis of Rutledge, Camilla Jarvis of Rutledge, Karen and Jay Yates of Rutledge; great grandchildren, Lillie and Matthew Seal of Sneedville and Alex and Allison Hopkins of Sneedville. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2001 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Greene officiating. I nterment in the Duck Creek Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2001 at McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville.
