LOUTHAN, OSCAR, age 76, of Sneedville, passed away June 13, 2001 at his home. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ollie Jane Louthan; brothers, Lon, Lloyd, Bob, and Frank Louthan; and sister, Ann Louthan. Survivors include his sisters, Hazel Jones of Sneedville, Edna Hopkins of Tazewell, and Mae Campbell of Sneedville; brother, Roy Louthan of Sneedville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2001 at the Church of Christ in Sneedville with Rev. Robert Lupo officiating. Interment in the Louthan Cemetery. Mr. Louthan will lie in state from 1:30-2:00 p.m. at the church. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2001 at the McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville. -
