He was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brownlow and Cora Goins and Bill and Sarah Swiney. Survivors: children, Anthony and Ashley Goins of Sneedville; wife, Darlene Goins of Sneedville; parents, Woodrow (Crow) and Gladys Goins of Sneedville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Roger Dalton of Bean Station, Christie and Darrell Dyer of Powder Springs, Kendra and Travis Spradling of Bean Station; nieces and nephews, Nathan and Jonathan Dalton of Bean Station, Kelly Dyer of Powder Springs and Samantha Spradling of Bean Station; several aunts and uncles; great-aunts and great-uncles and friends; special friends, Larry Strange and Gary Yount. The funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at McNeil Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Curtis Reed, Rev. Roger Dalton, Rev. Kyle Gregory, Jr. and Rev. Larry McNally officiating. Interment will be in the Goins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003 and Thursday, March 6, 2003 at McNeil Funeral Home.
