Many Thanks Nancy, That does help - a lot! Rowan Elrod was supposedly born in Hawkins Co., TN and I have found that he and Martha Davis married in Claiborne Co. But, I couldn't find them on the 1850 until now. I think the Sarah you mentioned is his mother. The others are most likely siblings. Rowan & Martha Elrod are on the 1860 Pulaski Co., KY census. I was trying to locate the rest of the family with this ten year census leap back. You've helped me find them. Thank you!
