He lived in Lee Co Va near Hancock Co. He was murdered December 22 1890. I have been searching for years to see who shot him and why. He was 29 years old. The only thing that was found in the court house,I have been told, was the date he was killed. A few years later Charles's brother WILLIAM OWENS was also shot and killed..no further info on him either.
