LAND TRANSFER - MARVEL COLLINS' HEIRS TO GEORGE COLLINS We Rebecca Collins wife of Marvil Collins decd, Lewis Collins and wife Mary Collins, Henderson Collins and wife Luvenna Collins, John Fields and wife Armin Fields, Eli F. Pike and wife Eliza V. Pike, John Collins and wife Mary Collins, Hillery Williams and wife Mary Williams, George Collins and wife Almeda Collins, Elija Williams and wife Drucilla Williams and Millie Collin heirs of Marvil Collins decd have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to George Collins his heirs and assigns forever for and in consideration of the sum of $120.00 one hundred and twenty dollars to us in hand paid the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged a certain tract or parcel of land including widow dowery. Lying in the 9th civil district of Hancock County Tennessee on the north side of Newmans ridge 50 acres more or less and bounded as follows - to wit beginning on chestnut oak on the north bluff of said ridge thence southwardly up siad ridge to a hickory and dogwood on top of the ridge corner on top of the ridge, thence westwardly along the top of said ridge to a black locust at a sink, thence morthwardly down said ridge to a stake at the main bluff, thence eastwardly along the top of said bluff to the beginning. Being the lands formerly owned by Marvil Collins decd to have and to hold the same to the said George Collins his heirs and assigns forever. We do covenant with the said George Collins that we are lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convy the same and that the land is unincumbored - We further obligate thence ourselves our heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title it said land and every part thereof to the said George Collins his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
