Hi, According to what I have of Mr William P. Grohse's papers, William 'Kell' Collins was the probable son of John Collins and Elsie? Collins. The 1880 Hancock co census lists: 6th Dist, #101, John Collins age 37, Elsie age 30, Alameda 11, Elihu 8, Haskell 6, Amanda J. 3, and Wm age 5/12. ( I believe that your Wm Kell is the 6 yr old Haskell) Next door to John and Elsie is a Jacob Collins, age 37 with wife Rinda, They have a son named Carter age 9. Mr Grohse has a handwritten note by Jacob's name saying that he is the son of Carter and Jane Lawson Collins. and that Jacob and John are twins. He slso refers to the 1850 census that shows a Lihue and Jacob age 7 as being twins, in the Household of Carter and Jane Lawson Collins. (Notice that John had a son named Elihue on the 1880 census) Handwritten note on the page showing Carter Collins, as being the son of Mitch Cellins. I will let you know if I find anything more. I do have his list of William Kell and Martha's children. One more note. Notice that William Kell had a daughter named Hassie that died young.
