She was the daughter of Elisha & Vada Winkler and the wife of the late Walter Royston. She was also preceded in death by her son & daughter in law, L. C. & Sharon Royston of Sneedville; brother, Oscar Winkler; and sisters, Maude Purkey, Minnie Helton & Edna Stanfier. She was a member of Brewers Chapel Church. She is survived by: son & daughter in law, Hugh Kyle & Dottie Royston of Sneedville; daughter & son in law, Inell & Paul Ratliff of Maryville; sister, Clara Jones of Sneedville; brother, Willy Bill Winkler of Sneedville; 6 grandchildren, David, Barb, Donna, Sandra, Teresa & Sherry; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; special friend and caregiver, Betty Mullins. Special thanks to Dr. John Short, House Call Health & Nurses and Medi Home care. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oc! tober 16, 2003 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel. Rev.
