Hi Debbie: Thank you for your reply. I believe, but have not proven yet, that Samuel and Perlaina's son, Jesse, was my Henry Bunch's grandfather. Henry's parents were Jesse and Ellen Williams Bunch. I think this older Jesse may be my Jesse's father. My Henry was born in 1881, in Hancock County, on Newman's Ridge. Henry is my gr.grandfather, and he used to say that he had another name and it was "Trent". Family tradition says that he had two middle names, but unfortunately none of the older relatives can remember them, except for the Trent. Perlaina was a Trent, so that might be the connection. Then again, I might be on the wrong track, there were many Bunches in Hancock and Hawkins county. I would be happy for any input you might have on my family. Thank you again for your reply.
