    3. I thought I would put my search back out to the list. I am researching my GGGgrandfather Thomas G. BRITT Jr. He was born 10/16/1835. I know he is found with his father, mother and siblings on the Knox County, Census 1850. He is then listed on the Jefferson County Census 1870, I am told, but have not had a chance to get to a library to look this info up. Our nearest research library is 75miles away. I have been told he is listed with his first wife Martha CUNNINGHAM. In 1880, Thomas and his second wife ( my GGGGrandmother) is listed on the Hancock County Census. Also listed on the Census is Thomas's son, John and his wife AdieTROLINGER, and Thomas' daughter Sally. There is also a Mary J. Britt (23yrs.) and a Nancy E. Britt (5 1/2months) I am not sure who these people are. In one census look-up that was given to me, it list these individuals with the last name of RINGLE. Apparently it was difficult to read. So am not sure if it was BRITT or RINGLE. My hope is, through the names of these individuals, I might find some connection to Thomas G. Britt Jr's. second wife, Frances Evaline DAVIS. All I know is that she was disowned because of her marriage to Thomas. She was born in 1859. I ! know she was born in Tn. From stories she told my grandmother, she came from a wealthy family. She had 3 daughters with Thomas and I believe at least one, possibly two were born in Tn. I have hit brick walls on both families, Francis and Thomas. I cant find anything on the parents of Thomas prior to 1850. And I cant find anything on Frances prior to her marriage on 12/1/1878 in Hamblen County. Any help, suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Kay
