Good Morning List, I promise I won't bombard everyones emails everyday with new additons to the website but since nothing had been done with it for awhile I thought I would let everyone know about the progress. http://www.tngenweb.org/hancock/index.htm First I want to Thank all the people who emailed me congratulations yesterday and this morning, I know most of you are on this list and I havent had time to email everyone personally but wanted to say "Thank You" . Second the additions to the site since yesterday are a couple of photos that were submitted. a website called Places Named, I have it linked to Hancock but you can search any county. If you put in the county it will bring up every state that has a county by that name, the states are in alphabetical order, so if you scroll down to TN you will see Hancock County.This site gives most of the cities and towns within that county and is great for people who have never lived or visited the county they are researching. Also another site called Genealogy Quest which has different stuff but has a wonderful glossary of old diseases which will help with the 1860 Mortality schedules that I put up on the site yesterday.
