    3. This is from the McDonald, PA Record-Outlook dated 6-25-1959. I have no connection with this family nor do I have any other information about Dr. Gardner. News article with picture DR. O. E. GARDNER DIES; FORMER MCDONALD PASTOR Dr. O. E. GARDNER, 87, former pastor of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald, died Sunday, June 7, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tenn. Dr. GARDNER came to the McDonald church I 1932. He was installed as its pastor September 30 of that year and served until August 31, 1943, when he returned to his native Tennessee. Prior to coming to McDonald, Dr. GARDNER had served as pastor of Northside Presbyterian church, Chattanooga, and the First Presbyterian church, Greenfield, Tenn. After returning to Chattanooga, he was named minister emeritus of the Northside Presbyterian church, and preached annually during the vacations of the pastor. In recent years he had served as moderator of the Presbytery of Chattanooga. He leaves a son, Joseph E. GARDNER, Sr. and two grandsons of Chattanooga. Mrs. GARDNER died about a year ago. Funeral services were held June 9 in Chattanooga. Burial was in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
