Hello, Many of these same families also went on to fight for the South in the Civil War. I have info on the 5th TN Cav(McKenzie's), Co. B......Welcker's TN Cav Batt'n(includes Darius Waterhouses Co.).....both of which were involved in the battles of Chickamauga and Chattanooga(hope I spelled that right....).
