The directions listed on the Hamilton County Cemetery Page gives the following: "This Thurman Cemetery is located three miles south of Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN. Go south to St Elmo three miles to Powell's store, and to the left for one block. Mr Elijah Thurman gave the land in 1873, he being the first person buried there in 1873." I have prowled this area and by going the specified three miles, I end up in GA. Does anyone have better directions? Thank you.
