    3. I don't have the 1880 Hamilton Co., TN census but your J.P. McMillin is listed in 1860: Page 130 - District No. 14 - Chattanooga 1015 1015 McMILLIN, J.P. 39 m cash'r Union Bank treas. 2500/7500; McMILLIN, Nancy J. 27 f' McMILLIN, James P. 4 m; McMILLIN, D.C. 1 m; HAMILL, Rachael E. 62 f 1200/2000. I would suspect that Rachael Hamill is the mother of Nancy J., wife of J.P. McMillin Hope this is helpful...Jo betmac@centurytel.net wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <betmac@centurytel.net> > To: <TNHAMILT-L-@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, October 05, 2001 3:07 PM > Subject: Re: [TNHAMILT] McMillan > > > Would someone who has access to the 1880 census for Hamilton Co., Tn. > please > > check and see if J.P. 3. Well, good, Betty. This 1860 listing confirms that the 1880 J. P. McMILLIS I found is the right family. The J. P., Nancy, and James are the same, and D. C. must be David.
