I posted a message some months back looking for a John Parker, b. about 1834 near Chattanooga who later migrated to DeKalb/Etowah Counties area of Alabama. I found enough evidence to convince me that this John Parker was the son of Elisha Parker of Hamilton County. I also found information (where I can't remember at the moment) that this John Parker married Nancy Johnson Anderson. On the Hamilton County TNGENWEB site, I found that the 1860 Hamilton County Census has been posted. In it I found a Nancy Hamilton, b. GA about 1839, daughter of L.W. Anderson, b. VA about 1810, and Rebecca Anderson, b. SC about 1810. This seems a good possibility for a match because I have what would be a granddaughter to Rebecca Anderson via the above mentioned marriage also named Rebecca.
