Hi List, Wow !! How nice it was to get so many replies to my query about Wanns Funeral Home. I am glad to find out that they are still in business. I can call them on Monday to see if they have anything on my Stratton's. Some of you told me that Wanns is at St. Elmo's. I had an Uncle that used to live right at the foot of Lookout Mtn. just down from the incline. I remember riding it up to the top and how scary I thought it was looking back down the mountain. I asked the conductor ( is that what he's called?) if it had ever failed and his reply was "Never on a Tuesday". I didn't know that area was called St. Elmo's. Thank you all for telling me this.
