James' parents were Sullivan Davis and Elizabeth ________. James had a sister named Mary Davis who married Thomas Davis. Both families lived in the Snow Hill Road and Savannah Creek area near Dolly Pond Rd. and Highway 58. Family members are buried at the Davis Cemetery. Most of the graves have no markers. My wife, Karen, is a descendant of Thomas and Mary.
