For a study of cultural conditions in Monroe, Blount,Loudon (and surrounding area), I am focusing onthe HOWARD/McGHEE/JONES feud and would appreciate input from descendants of the contemporaries of the feud events. JONES and HOWARD families had close ties to HAMILTON COUNTY, and Hamilton Count newspapers reported extensively on the feud episodes, which lasted from 1898 through 1902.
