I promised to pass along how it went ordering school records. I sent last week and already received them today. I sent a list of my fathers siblings, their parents, and their home address along with birth dates but a couple not sure of. Out of five I received three and one being my fathers. I don't know if they sent another envelope since this one was full so if you order more than one you should send an envelope with each request since each report is two pages. I have found out the positive birth dates for my father's siblings and birth location. I also found out they lived for a time in Toronto, OH. I have to figure this out still. I do know that my grandfather requested his social security card in OH and wasn't sure they were one in the same person, now I know. I have sent for his application just haven't received it yet. I also learned that my grandfathers occupation was Paper Machine Tender, what ever that is. I don't know if they had a postion in the Army for that or if he worked for a newspaper. I wanted to thank again those that were so kind in helping an out of towner and I hope passing this on gives someone more light on their ancestors past.
