He apparently was listed in the Tennessee census as Adam Sherell and lived in Roane County, TN. He married Ellen Gilmer in 1817 and both Adam and his wife died in 1835. Based on information I have, children included Benjamin C. Sherrill, John Wesley Sherrill, and Alexander. I'm at a dead end and would be grateful for any information or clues.
