Family story shows we have Cherokee blood lines but no proof. Robert Scott Ryan was the Postmaster in Mount Vernon, Missouri. His son, John, went to law school at Ann Harbor Michigan. He was a lawyer, marrried Jenny Power in Arkadelphia Arkansas March 12, 1888. Let me know if this helps...maybe we can connect other names.
