I believe, just like you do, that my Frances Rhea is descended from the Snapps & the Rheas of Sullivan County. If not a granddaughter, a great granddaughter. I did do a survey of the Census' 1830 thru 1850 in Sullivan, Washington, Johnson & Greene Co.s & found that the most probable Rhea families are: James & Robert P. of Sullivan Co. in all 3 Census' and Ezekiel, John & Robert of Greene Co. in the 1830 & 1840 Census'. In the 1850 Greene Co. Census there are 2 female heads of households and no male heads of households; Docky & Ruth could be widows of the 3 men in Greene Co. or the families could be new in Greene Co. or the men have moved out of Greene Co. She would have been out of her parent's home in the 1850 Census. She married William Price Pickering in 1849 and shows up as his wife in the 1850 Greene Co. Census. All help appreciated.
