I think my Hale ancestors were in Sullivan and Washington Counties, Tennessee, Perry, Magoffin, and Martin Counties, Kentucky. My gg grandfather (John Hale) , it appers was born in Washington County, Virginia and his first child (William) was born in Russell County, Virginia.
