He was a descendant of Waites, Feagins, Bradley, Weems, McLain of Caney Creek Church, among many other Greene Co. families. I know that he had friends among the Tucker, Carter, and Brotherton families. I have 4 group photos, probably taken sometime between 1929 and 1933, of an outing to Dillam's Rock on Bays Mountain. In the photos, there are 7 young women, 8 young men, and 1 boy, maybe age 12. My father and his brother, Howard, b. 1913, are in one of the photos. The only names written on the backs are Ruth Tolliver, Lois Williams, Lena Kenney. I have scanned these photos and will be happy to email them to anyone who is interested.
