I found this odd entry in the Green County Will book: ROBERT GRAGG 1793 Greene County, Tennessee, South of the River Ohio. Children: John S. William Gragg, Abigail Gragg, Betsey Gragg, Robert, Samuel, Thomas, Henry. To Son, John S., a horse, cow and calf. To Son, William, a horse, cow and calf, my rifle gun and shot gun, big pot and crock. John and William to work together and John make all decisions. To Daughter, Abigail, 1/2 her dresses, cow and calf. To Son, Robert, my Big Bible. To Son, Samuel, my sword, money from Virginia. Sell my stud horse named Shakespeare for 25 pounds Virginia currency and give money to daughter, Betsey. Pay Colonel Kelly. Sons, Thomas, Henry, Samuel and Robert, Benjamin Crow, George Malcom and Joseph McMurtry, an equal share of all remaining of my estate. Executors: Sons, Samuel and Robert. Witnesses: Benjamin Crow, Junr., William Wall. Dated: 23 May 1793. Signed: Robert Gragg It looks like Joseph McMurtry is included with his sons and was to get an equal share. I thought this might provide some genealogical clues for you? **************What's for dinner tonight? Find quick and easy dinner ideas for any occasion.
