I am afraid that I can't be of much help. I was hoping that you would be. The only things I know for sure is Robert Rogers was not a white man, possibly black, but most likely an Indian/black mix. I do not know anything about Sadie Young. Grandma always told us that she was born in Tennessee, but I don't know what county or town. Grandpa's (Charles Beckham Finn) family was supposed to have been from Kentucky, but again I don't know what county or town. Years ago when doing some research at the library at IU, there was some information that came up with Grandpa's birthdate, but the name was Clarence Vernon (Jack) Finn. Charles was not mentioned. Clarence did have a sister named Mary Elizabeth, which Grandma always said Minnie's sister Mary was named after. As far as I know, there were no papers found in Grandma's things after her death.
