At one time Greene & Washington Counties were the same. You might try looking in Greene Co, TN or Washington Co, NC. Also, I have seen the name Kelley in Marion Co, TN after 1820. It is not one of my families, but I have a friend who is doing research on the Kelley in Illinois. Tiss
