James Sr. married twice. (1) Jemima Russell They were married Feb. 5, 1792 and she died Sept 1, 1809. James Sr. married (2) Leah Cox June 1, 1813. They also had 7 children. She died Oct 7, 1826 when her last child was born. My ancestor, James Jr. is of the 2nd marriage. Leah is buried in Honey Creek Cemetery at Vigo IN. Don;t know when they moved to IN or whether all of the older children went with him. He moved back to Greene co TN after his wife;s deathm probably to get help with the young children. I have verified information on my part of the line and some additional info oin your ancestor. Please let me know what else you need. Joseph is listed on GenForum in a recent query.
