Surnames: DAVIS WISCARVER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ihB.2ACI/4277 Message Board Post: I'm looking for info on the daughter of Nathan Davis named Betsey Davis Wiscarver she's mentioned in an 1832 will of Nathan Davis along with his son Nathaniel and his other daughter named Parmalee Tooles. I believe that the family of Jesse Davis is kin to Nathan's family cause in 1823 Jesse's will also mentions a daughter named Betsey. Plus I read an old article that said Nathan settled in the 3rd district (whch I believe is Caney Creek) and had Samuel McAmis as a neighbor. In 1830 it appears that one Fields Davis (there are 2 in the 1830 census) lived on Caney Creek (cause his neighbors were McAmis' also.) While the other(younger) Fields Davis lived near Jesse in Newmansville. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You in advance!
