Their known male children were: Jesse II b. 1816 (He never married and may have been killed in the Civil War. In his will he leaves everything to his brother Joshua and then to Joshua Benjamin, son of his brother.) Jacob(Jake) b. 1818 Jesse K. b. 1825 James Crawford b. 1830 (killed in Civil War) Joshua b. 1/11/1832 Samuel b. 1836 Alfred (Dick) b. 6/1/1837 (my grandfather) I have more on these men and their marriages and children. I just learned tonight that one of the three unnamed daughters of Jesse and Polly was Bethena b. between 1855-1856 (who m. l. Thomas England and may have had children, 2. Sherwood Hatley with whom she had no children.) Jesse I was the son of John Reynolds and Mary whose last name may be Alen or Allen. Their children were named in John's will as being: John II b. 1785 Elizabeth (Betsy) b. 1787 Reuben b. 1788 David b. 1790 Jesse b. 1791-93 Sally b. abt 1800 Vinson b. abt. 1802 (not the Vincent who married a Kilday) I have more on these children and who they married.
