He was married to Sarah Margaret Woods, daughter of Zedekiah Woods & Elizabeth Knight. Sarah had more children after Rickers death, all of which took the Ricker surname, however no evidence she re-married. Trying to locate father of her younger children. Possible James R. Jinks of Jefferson Co., She was living with him and his family in 1870 along with her children, and would have been pregnant at the time w/ my gg Grandfather Nathan Dempsey Ricker. Sarah's children include: with Joseph Ricker John Ricker B: 1860 Susan Isabelle Ricker B: 1861 George Washington Ricker: 12-29-1863 Unknown Father: William L. Ricker B: 1865 Benjamin "Franklyn" Ricker (AKA Marion F.) B:10-08-1867 Nathan Dempsey Ricker B:09-13-1870 (Nashville TN) Hugh Ricker B: 1873 Oliver Ricker B: Unknown Mary Elizabeth B: Unknown Timeline: 1860 in Greene Co, Timber Ridge Twnsp W/ husband Joseph Ricker 1870 in Jefferson Co., TN w/ children living w/ James R. Jinks & Family 1880 - not found on census 1891- Listed on Greene Co., TN Widows Pension list 1912- Death, most likely in Greene Co. TN.
