Samuel Henderson was listed as a nephew of a Mary Henderson when he "baptized" his dead in Nauvoo, IL. Mary Henderson could have been a desceased sister of James who died young or she could have been a sister-in-law of James-we don't know. She didn't apparently marry Thomas Crawford. He also baptized "Uncle" Chapman who probably was the f/o James & Sophia Chapman whom he listed as cousins. Do you know who Uncle Chapman might be? I actually descend from John Henderson died 1825 Greene Co TN whom I believe may have been the b/o James but this isn't proved.
