Christine, I am familiar with the French Broad River which is only possible route I can think of by a boat. You might start with the Morality schedules for each county along the river route. Once you locate the exact location of her death then you can check the closest cemeteries in the area. You might try with Cocke county 1st. On the Cocke COunty site they also have some funeral homes listed. I located a lot of information through them.
