Also, my cousin, Mary Reynolds, is married to a Malone, but they are up in years. I don't know his parents yet. I can call the Casteel gal to see if she knows other Malones in the area and to get the Weems' names who own it. If enough interest can be generated, both in Greene Co. and elsewhere, in saving the cemetery, you will meet lots of cousins with recipes, no doubt. As for those garden gloves, this is much too big a project for just gloves as one can not even set foot inside the cemetery because of briar bushes. I think it is an acre of land and you get there by going into a large pasture full of cows and then up a hill on very uneven ground. The gate to the pasture was not locked last year. Since Mary Polly West's husband, William Malone, was the brother of my great grandmother, Mary Polly who m. Jesse Reynolds, and brother of Anna who m. Jesse's bro. Reuben Reynolds, and brother of Betsey who m. David Reynolds--this makes us cousins!!! Do you have anything on children of Anna and Betsey? Also I can give you more on Jesse's sons but don't know who his 3 daughters were. I would like the Brown family website as my maternal grand- mother was Mary Catherine Brown, dtr of John Brown and Annie Ford about whom I know nothing.
