I am not familiar with what you call the 'Gap Creek Myers' but was trying to give you a Michael with dates as close as possible to those you mentioned. I have other Michael's. There were many Moyer/Myers in PA as you probably know. I do not know the name of Henry's parents. My grandmother was Lucinda Jane Moyer/Myers, dtr of James Myers and Malinda Collett. James was the son of John Moyer/Myers and Lucinda Susannah (Lucy) Smith, and John was the son of George Adam Moyer and Mary Koch. George Adam was son of Christopher and Mary Catherine Vogt. Any information you have would be welcome.
