I am looking for Cochrans who were in the West Plains, Howell County area of Missouri who were also in illinois at one time. I found an Emaniel born Tenn. in 1847 in the 1880 LDS census for Willow Springs, Howell County, MO. I am wondering if he is connected to my Hiram Cochran born 1848 in AR whos folks both were born in ILL. Family rumor has it that Hiram came from a large family that split over the civil war and they never got back together. Hiram was supposed to be from White Plains area in Howell County, MO.
